DBT trade mission to China

ASG travelled with a UK Department for Business and Trade automotive delegation to Shanghai and Chongqing, two of China’s largest vehicle manufacturing centres. The mission opened in Shanghai with the “Driving Globalisation” UK–China automotive collaboration and investment forum, hosted by the UK Government with the SMMT and the British Chamber of Commerce.

ASG presented the architecture to the room: the single ring, the 1 ms synchronous state window, and what it changes for an EV programme running on a short development cycle.

The mission then moved to Chongqing for site visits with Chinese vehicle makers, including Changan, alongside the British Consul General, and NIO and SERES.
